Requirements

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Technology or closely related field (includes Electrical Engineering). Must have demonstrable ability to operate and program PLC (programmable logic controller), HMI (human machine interface) & SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems; demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with various teams and Tanklogix customers; and willingness to provide good customer service. Required skills may be earned during advanced educational studies. Requires periodic travel to jobsites in Permian Basin.

Duties

Successful candidate for this position is responsible for: Providing control solutions to Oil & Gas customers in Permian Basin, e.g., Well pad, Gas lift, Production Batteries, Pipeline, SWDs (serial wire debugs), VFDs (variable frequency drives) and Compressor stations; Junior programmer for PLC (programmable logic controller), HMI (human machine interface) & SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems, implementing code standards and building templates used in various projects; Working on hosted Ignition SCADA platform migration and develop reports; Maintaining integrity of the data in SCADA control system; Processing tags for programmers and engineers daily; Training customers and preparing training material; Coordinating with project managers, automation and sales team members to assess potential projects, submit proposals and address day-to-day issues; Establishing service team and implement tools to manage service requests; Working with customers and other stakeholders to design user friendly custom pages to access the sites remotely very easy way with security; Coordinating with a wide variety of technical contacts, including consulting engineering firms, general contractors, customers, vendors, inspectors, and internal team members to control schedules and execute resources to deliver on commitments.
